About Me

The Borough of Fort Lee to be exact. I lived there for 10 of my most impressionable years. As all Northerners do, I migrated to Florida with my family.

Upon arriving in Punta Gorda, Florida, life was very different there. You could hear all the sounds of a coastal town, something foreign to city 'folk'. After quite some time of adjusting, I took to the sunny Florida lifestyle, huricanes and all.

That is when Hurricane Charley changed my life on August 13, 2004. After experiencing the full wrath of a category 4, my town was devastated.

After begining the rebuild, one year later I took off to attend Stetson University as a freshman.

I previously served on the Alumni Board of Directors as District co-chair representing Palm Beach County. 

I was also a founding father of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Stetson. After 20 years we re-founded the Delta Upsilon chapter. ppka.

From Jupiter to Boca Raton, I covered a lot of ground as Vice President of Sales for Access Medical Laboratories. Come Saturday and Sunday we enjoyed all the sun the Atlantic Coast of Palm Beach had to offer. 

In 2010 I created a site called ThePatchCollector.com to host an online avenue for one of my every growing hobbies. With success developing that site and marketing it online, I opted to manage more sites for different venues.

In 2011 I created The Martini Scene to continue site development and expand on popular hobbies. I find Web creation is a great past time and continue to redesign sites and social network marketing tools.

In 2012 my .com brand was born with the establishment of Jesslanza.com.

In 2013 I created a photo blog website featuring Law Enforcement vehicles called CopCruisers. Soon after marketing the site on Facebook, followers grew and we receive numerous photo contributions from around the country. 

In 2015, I launched a property management website for several manufactured home communities my wife is part owner of. 

In 2017, I was selected to become the webmaster of Otsego County Fire Police Association new website. The site is used to feature Fire Police and emergency service training, tips and announcements. 

I've hosted political campaign sites and and an array of social media pages. 

More recently, I've taken our brick and mortar shop in Cooperstown online to enhance our online presence with KatesUpstate.com. 

After my wife and I were married in the Fall of 2014, we decided to relocate from beautiful South Florida. We found a  great opportunity to work in our family business managing properties and developing residential communities in Upstate New York. 

In 2017, my wife Kate and I started Kate's Upstate, Inc.,  A fashion boutique in the Cooperstown, New York, Famously known as home of the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

I've had the opportunity to become a member of our volunteer fire company soon after we arrived in NY. While Law Enforcement was a lifelong passion, I quickly experience all the unique aspects of the fire and emergency medical service. I am a certified firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician and Fire Instructor. 

I had to opportunity to attend the police academy in 2021 and upon graduating, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a police officer.
